SOFTBALL IN OTTAWA, BUT MAKE IT FUN
After many years of playing softball in Ottawa, it's clear that there's a gap at the recreational level. While plenty of leagues promise a fun, welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, that promise falls short far too often. Whether it's due to overly aggressive players, lack of league responsiveness, or a misrepresentation of skill level, it's clear that it's time for a change.

The goal of every game is to have fun and get better. By keeping the league small and hosting open communication channels for all players, ALLBALL will foster a culture of friendship and support both on the ball diamond and off.
SAFETY
Through the use of common-sense solutions like certified umpires, pre-season rules clinics, and a clear player code of conduct, ALLBALL will create an environment where league members feel able to be their best sporting selves at all times.
FUN
Who wants a summer of the same old sport over and over again? From theme nights to league outings ALLBALL will keep things rockin’ all season!
AFFORDABILITY
ALLBALL is a completely volunteer run league. This means everyone's league fees go straight back into the league for things like field rentals, equipment, and events. We're not trying to pay anyone's salary here.

WHERE WE'RE AT
With a successful inaugural season in the books, we're looking to build and improve in 2025. The feedback we received from last year was overwhelmingly positive, so we'll look to keep the trend up for 2025 while also tweaking some things based on some lessons learned from last year. We'll be looking at some small rule changes, different playoff formats, ways to book rainout games in advance, new theme nights, and more. Most importantly, we'll be looking to expand the league with two additional teams. This means we'll over 24 brand new faces to ALLBALL that we'll be excited to welcome to the league.
